ImageVaultTM is the first Internet-based digital asset management
(DAM) solution. Graphic Arts, Inc., parent company of Heliogramme
America, Inc., introduced ImageVault at the Seybold Seminars in
New York in 1997 as a technology demonstration with its partners,
Apple, Kodak, Cumulus and Foresight. It has since been acclaimed
for its ease of use and cost effectiveness.
In January 2000, ImageVaultTM was totally redesigned and rewritten
to take advantage of new technologies that became available. The
software was redesigned to make it possible for a user with only
a 56K modem to work efficiently.
Breakthrough technology pushed forward the development of AdBuilderProTM,
a tool that allows the assets stored in ImageVaultTM to be used to
create rules-based advertising material in the users Internet
browser.
Businesses and their advertising agencies are using ImageVaultTM
and AdBuilderProTM to create and distribute advertising materials
that their dealers can instantly access and customize via the web
anywhere in the world.
Further research and development is driving the development of
AdComposerTM which has been described as "Xpress over the Internet
on steroids."
